A(H1N1) Influenza Strain - The threat is coming

From what seemed to be a seasonal flu outbreak in Mexico has turned out to be a deadly new strain of virus that infects pigs and humans alike.This virus has spread all the way to the shores of Malaysia now,with 1 suspected case there and 1 confirmed case in Hong Kong,Japan,Korea and New Zeland. The World Health Organisation has raised the pandemic level to 5 which signifies that a pandemic will be imminent. In fact, recent news prove that Level 6 would be reached sooner or later.However,this does not mean the end of the world.This just signals that there is a pandamic. According to experts and doctors,there is no use in worrying about the virus.In fact,worrying about the virus would further decrease your immunity,causing you to be more vulnerable to viruses.
We should all be vigilant in these times.
Be considerate.If you show Flu-like symptoms,please do not report for work or school as you may never know what you would spread to others.
Be wary.Try avoiding crowded places as much as possible as this would lessen your chances of catching the flu.
Be prepared.The virus has already spread to many of our neighbouring countries like Japan,South Korea and worst of all a suspected case in Malaysia.We must be prepared to raise to Red Alert.
Be optimistic.We must not worry too much and hope for the best.This would help in boosting the immunity system of your body.
